Folding laundry is my least favorite task.
Washing laundry might be my second least favorite task.
Let me be really honest. I’d rather scrub a toilet.
Does anyone out there feel my pain?
At least making my laundry detergent is pretty easy peasy. I have been using my own laundry detergent recipe for about a year now and for me it works great. I don’t have any complaints about stinky clothes and it is SUPER easy on the budget.
I love it that when I make my own laundry detergent you can use any essential oils that you choose in order to create your favorite scent. You could even create your own spectacular essential oil blend so that you could enjoy an orchestra of your favorite scents.
Heavenly. Right?
I typically switch off between using Lemon and Melaleuca a. for my laundry, I don’t typically use them together like the above photo suggests. {Don’t let it fool you.} They are both known for their cleaning properties and I just love the cleansing scent of lemon. Mmm… it reminds me of spring cleaning. Which is what I am in the process of doing around my house right now.
This recipe is so fantastically easy really, just 3 ingredients plus your essential oils.
I hope that you love it just as much as I do because it will save you pennies and it is easy to make as long as you remember to keep the ingredients on hand.
