“If I could make just $500 extra a month.”
I remember these words coming out of my mouth on nearly a daily basis. My husband and I have been on a super tight budget for years. We have always had just enough to pay our bills and purchase exactly what was necessary. We always thought it would be nice to have just a little extra money in our pockets for a little bit of breathing room.
During this time, I felt like I really needed to stay at home with my children and do what I could to figure out how to work from home.
Actually, that is the exact reason that I started blogging. I wanted to make a little extra cash here and there. I wanted to finally be able to put money in our savings account, save for a vacation, or save for a “new” (new-to-us) car one day.
Blogging didn’t bring me much income at first since I was literally just trying to make money. My first blog was an absolute disaster in some ways. I couldn’t find a niche. I wanted to write about everything and nothing seemed to fit in one place. It’s gone now, erased from the internet for all eternity. Thank goodness. That was an embarrassing piece of work.
Even though I didn’t make any money, it brought many, many good things. Since then I have learned a TON about blogging, social media, online marketing, and how to literally work from home. My husband actually found a job, after a long journey of looking, through my attendance at a blogging conference. I’ve made SO many wonderful friends blogging and I found my passion.
I’ve learned that you really can’t make good money from something unless you are very passionate about it.
So, whenever you are reading my blog, you can rest assured that I am passionate about EVERYTHING on it such as nutrition and essential oils. I write about health and promote health based products because I am passionate about them and I want to share them with the world. I do not write on this website because I want to make money off you or anyone else that comes to visit.
Now that you understand my motivation…
I want you to know that I WANT you to succeed at working from home too! And there are so many ways to do it (not just blogging)! You really CAN make an extra $500 a month, or more if you want to. You can learn how to blog, or you can teach classes sharing essential oils with the world. Did you know, that when people begin to use essential oils they also show interest in eating better and living a healthier lifestyle?
It is awesome to be part of a business that is helping families to enjoy better health!
